Proceeding your walk in a real open-air museum, you can also visit the Galleria dell’Accademia where Michelangelo’s David is exhibited, while in the Gallerie degli Uffizi, very close to the suggestive Ponte Vecchio, you can admire the "Birth of Venus" of Botticelli" and the "annunciation" of Leonardo da Vinci. Don’t forget to take a look at one of the most important churches, the Basilica of Santa Maria Novella.
Not to waste much time, walking through the alleys of the city, you can taste typical Tuscan products in typical Florentine trattorias or a faster "street food" in the two major markets of Florence, San and Sant’Ambrogio.
